Created by DMA Designs (now known as Rockstar Games) in the early 90's, this game blends classic puzzle style gameplay with fast paced platforming and RTS elements to it to try to keep those poor lemmings going off happily to their doom! In this episode Greg and George cover the SNES remakes of Dragon Quest 1, 2, and 3! Only released in Japan, Dragon Quest 1-2 was released on one game pack and Dragon Quest 3 on another. Known in the west as Dragon Warrior, Dragon Quest is one of the three 'holy trilogy' of classic Japanese RPG's along with Final Fantasy and Phantasy Star. We talk about some of the history of the franchise and of these games, what was changed or enhanced in the SNES version, and how it plays compared to the NES originals.
